Welcome to The Percussion Experts!

It is exciting to say that the first instruments were percussion. Just taking two sticks and hitting them together to make unique sounds is a percussion instrument. Also, percussion instruments are made from natural earth creations. Wood, gourds, bamboo, shells, skins and even bones!

Every culture has unique percussion instruments hand made and used for generations in cultural festivities. Our focus here at The Percussion Experts is to cover standard percussion, vibes, marimba, bells, xylophone, timpani, hand percussion, traps percussion, whistles, latin percussion, concert percussion and vintage percussion....Wow! There is just too many to list.

As you might not know, we are here to help answer your questions about percussion and purchasing percussion instruments. We have an extensive collection of percussion and history and even a very rare collection on loan from the Ludwig Drum Family.

William F Ludwig Jr traveled the world doing his history of percussion and we have the collection photographed and sound filed for you online. Did you ever hear an old train whistle or a koo koo? Even a slap stick and ratchet are recorded!
